Urban

Drums, Back-up Vocals

All throughout Urban’s grade school years his teachers would complain of his constant finger tapping on his desk. Realizing that drumming was in his blood his cousin gave him a snare drum. He was 9 years old then and he’s been drumming ever since. After mastering his rudiments and playing in the school band he studied with Jeff Moylan to fine-tune his chops. Urban then played at local clubs and college parties with On Edge. Then came a short stint with Roller who took 3rd place out of 60 bands in the 1982 “Battle of the Bands” in Milwaukee. He stopped playing professionally for 10 years and focused on his career and family. He then co-founded Blue Plate Special and 4 years later played with Front Page News. The Twang Dragons original music was his next endeavor and then he co-founded Chasing Friday whom he played with until September of 2006. He is ecstatic to be the drummer of Stereotype and to play with such fantastic musicians.
